North Shore Baptist Church is committed to assisting those in the city who are in need. We offer a variety of services for the homeless in our surrounding neighborhoods. No ID is required to use these services.

Homeless services (from 9 am - 1 pm, Monday-Friday)

CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE DUE TO PRICE CHANGES IN THE CTA; CTA PASSES: 1 pass per month per person, when passes are available (new passes are available on the 1st of every month).

BAG LUNCHES: 2 lunch bags per month per person (Unavailable until April 14th)

SHOWERS: Shampoo, soap & towels provided

LOCKERS: Lockers are available for both men and women. Currently all lockers are FULL.

All are welcome. Inquire at the office with Mae on the availability of these services

NORTH SHORE BAPTIST CHURCH: GUIDELINES FOR SERVICES

PLEASE check in with Mae in the office when you enter the building. If you would like to go to your locker, use the restroom, take a shower or get a lunch Mae can help you out!
Lobby area is for those waiting for showers or eating lunches ONLY! Please do not sit around in the lobby area, unless you are waiting to use our facilities, or eating a sack lunch.
There is a 15 minute time limit in the restroom. If you are taking a shower or using the restroom to shave, you only have 15 minutes to do so. We have many people who need to use our facilities, so we have to keep things moving!
DO NOT ENTER THE RESTROOM WITHOUT FIRST CHECKING WITH MAE!! You are not allowed to go back and check on the person in the shower unless Mae has asked you to do so. You are also not allowed to go back to check your locker or use the restroom without first checking with Mae. We would like to keep the number of people in the restroom to a minimum.
People may be entering the restroom while you are in the shower. Please be aware of that. We have only 1 restroom for showers, lockers and toilets. If you are in the shower, please be aware that others may be coming back there to use the facilities.

Our "Lunchmakers" program meets every 3rd Sunday at 12:30 pm to assemble 125 bag lunches for our Bag Lunch program.
