Mission projects

Mission, Service And Learning Trips

NSBC offers a variety of opportunities to serve others as we strive to follow Jesus’ example of love and service. These experiences help us build our faith and our relationships to one another.  Recent projects include: 

  • Mission trips to Mexico in partnership with Permanecer Ministries; in particular, “Casa Abuelo,” the housing ministry for the elderly who have no other support. 
  • Youth service learning trips to Dubuque, Iowa in partnership with other congregations.
  • NSBC sends delegates to the summer conference of the Baptist Peace Fellowship of North America / Bautistas por la Paz to participate in workshops and projects centering on peace and justice work.
