This year, NSBC is hosting the Edgewater Community Religious Association's annual Thanksgiving service at 3 pm on Sunday, November 19. It will feature speakers, music, and sacred readings from various faiths represented in our community. There will be a reception to follow.
At the service, we will also be collecting canned goods to benefit Care for Real, the Edgewater food pantry.

There will be a social & spiritual retreat for young adults over the last weekend in October, 10/27-29. We will be heading up to the American Baptist Assemblies (Green Lake) for a few days spent together (with some alone time too) in eating, praying, playing, and enjoying the last gasp of the outdoors before winter sets in. The projected cost is $100 per adult for lodging, with financial support available. If you’re wondering whether you are young enough to be included, you are — Join us! Please let Pastor David or Pastor Kathryn know if you are interested
Join us at 10:30 am on Sunday, November 5 for our annual Unity Service. All of the congregations join together for a multilingual celebration of our identity as one church of many cultures.
Instead of having Vacation Bible School this summer, we will host a program for our children from 11:30am-12:30pm on the following Sundays: July 30, August 11, August 18, and August 25. Each week, we will explore a different North Shore mission trip through pictures, games, and crafts. We will learn about Salamanca in Spain, the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota, and the peacemaking efforts of the Baptist Peace Fellowship in Toluca, Mexico.
